Recently, several commercial movies have been filmed in Talbot County. Have you ever wondered what it takes to produce a movie? What goes on between writing the script and seeing the movie on the screen?
A Hollywood insider will lead the class through the good, the bad, and the ugly of the film business. Each week we will concentrate on a different aspect of the complex process of creating and producing a movie.

About the Instructors:
Liza Moore Ledford spent 12 years in Hollywood. At Sony Studios, she was Senior Vice-President of Production for Hogan-Moorhouse Pictures, supervising development and production of projects directed and/or produced by PJ Hogan and Jocelyn Moorhouse. She also identified, solicited, and developed new material. At Universal Studios, Liza was Development/Production Executive for Amblin Entertainment (Steven Spielberg’s company).
Sandra Johnson worked in advertising for more than 20 years. She is co-creator of a musical scheduled to premiere in 2016 and is currently preparing (“readying pitches”) for three TV shows for presentation to New York City-based agents and Los Angeles-based production companies.
