“Photography is an art of observation. It has very little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”– Elliot Erwitt
Calling all mobile phone photographers! iPhone Photo Magic is a class not about theory, but about photographers sharing their experiences as photographers, and how we use our iPhone cameras (or other camera phones) to express our imagination.
We will explore the advantages of camera phones, the disadvantages, and how they define us as photographers. This class seeks people who want to talk about their approach to photography using what has become an exceptional tool.
Participants are requested to share at least one or two of their photos, per session, beginning with session one.
We’ll explore some of our favorite styles of photography (portraits, landscapes, panoramas, architecture, street shooting, art, and documentary/culture) and discuss how we approach our subject matter and point of view. We will also discuss how we edit our shots and what we do with them.
