St. Michaels Daffodil Festival
April 14 - April 15
Sponsored by the Town of St. Michaels, Maryland, the inaugural Daffodil Festival has planned activities including a Daffodil Weekend Parade, Daffy-Dog Costume Pageant, Daffodil Garden Tours, and more!
In fall 2017, 10,000 daffodil bulbs were planted at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum– as part of more than 20,000 bulbs in the entire Town–through a newly formed community organization called St. Michaels In Bloom. The organization is dedicated to the beautification of St. Michaels. Consisting solely of volunteers, St. Michaels in Bloom works to create a welcoming and vibrant landscape for the Town through the planting of colorful flowers, plants, and trees throughout our business and community districts.
Part of the national organization, America in Bloom, whose vision is to have localities across the US participate in community beautification projects, the goal of St. Michaels in Bloom is to see this community bloom in many ways.
Festivities are designed to encourage visitors and to benefit residents and businesses alike. St. Michaels Community groups, merchants, and residents show support through the display of daffodils and through participation in our Daffodil Festival Events.
