Mason will present information about the two volunteer groups within CBMM that are model related. CBMM’s Model Guild is broadly based in maritime models with missions for meeting CBMM’s needs for display models both new and for repairs. The other group is the Model Sailing Club in which members build or acquire 5-foot long skipjack models and sail using radio controls in monthly races at CBMM throughout the season. The competition is good-natured and provides an opportunity to exercise sailing skills without maintaining a full sized boat.
