Tracey Munson joins CBMM
Tracey Munson of Easton has been named director of marketing and media relations for the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum (CBMM) in St. Michaels, Maryland.
Munson’s responsibilities include developing and executing an integrated, strategic marketing plan that promotes the Museum and its programs, special events, exhibits and overall visitor and member experiences. She also leads community and media relation initiatives in support of the Museum’s mission, goals, objectives and brand identity.
Munson brings more than twenty years experience in marketing, public relations and media relations to the position. She is a 2005 Shore Leadership graduate and earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Maryland at College Park.
Munson is a board member of Shore Leadership, serves on the institutional advancement committee of the Mid-Shore Community Foundation and is a two-time recipient of the Talbot Optimist Club’s ‘Optimist of the Year’ award. She has served as co-chair of Easton High School’s 2010 after-graduation committee; a two-term president of the Talbot Optimist Club; president of the Tidewater Camera Club; and as a board member for Talbot Partnership.
Through educational, cultural and interactive exhibits and activities, CBMM celebrates the connections between the Bay and its people while inspiring an understanding of and appreciation for the rich maritime heritage of the Chesapeake Bay and its tidal reaches.
