Cannon RaffleCONGRATULATIONS to Clark Johnson, of Worton, MD! The winning ticket was drawn on Monday, September 10 by Langley Shook, with the help of volunteer When notified, Clark responded "Truly I have only once in my life won a lottery pick. It was in 1966 when the local draft board picked me as a lucky winner for a position in the US Army. I was in the artillery units, so I know what a cannon is all about!" Thank you to all who bought tickets and supported the Museum!

Cast in solid brass by the good folks at RBG Cannons, Herreshoff modeled it from the 9 lb British Naval Deck Cannon. They have been used to start numerous America’s Cup races, and are proudly used by the U.S. Navy for saluting and ceremonial purposes.
