Welcome aboard 1955 skipjack Rosie Parks during the St. Michaels Flag Day Boat Parade on Sunday, June 14 from 12:30-2:30pm! We’re thrilled to offer this opportunity to experience cruising the Miles River on this historic oyster dredging vessel during this special celebration honoring America 250. If you’d like to help our crew, led by Vessel Conservation Manager Sam Hilgartner, hoist sails, trim sail, or take the helm, that is encouraged. If not, you can relax on deck and enjoy a pleasant spring sail with our Shipyard staff and volunteers. The vessel is capped at six passengers per sail.
