Dovetail “Ditty Box” Workshop

Join Grigg Mullen in this three-day workshop to create your very own, custom mahogany dovetailed ditty box. Traditionally a “ditty box” was a small box that sailors made to hold their personal, cherished belongings.
This workshop will give students the opportunity to learn how to cut dovetail joints, shape the top-edge profile, make and set holly inlays, as well as set the hardware. All materials are included in the cost of the workshop. Approximate box dimensions are 4 inches by 6½ inches by 11¼ inches.
