Mid-Summer Boat Sale

The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum’s Charity Boat Donation Program is hosting a Mid-Summer Boat Sale on campus on Saturday, July 22, from 10am-4pm. This is a great opportunity to get discounted pricing on a new-to-you boat for all your summer adventures on the water while supporting an excellent cause.

You won’t want to miss this special selection of ready-to-use runabouts, skiffs, and cruising sailboats. Our experienced staff will help you find a great boat at a great price. Boats on sale include:

• CLC Peeler Skiff — 15-foot, 2016 wood and epoxy skiff in excellent condition. Perfect for crabbing, fishing, or simply cruising the rivers. Includes a titled trailer. ***Boat currently has a deposit***
• Wellcraft — 1981 Wellcraft cuddy cabin with a 200 Johnson outboard. Engine rebuilt in 2019. 30-gallon tank.
• Porta-Bote —  Want a boat but don’t have the room to store it? This is the boat for you! The 12-foot Porta-Bote folds down flat for easy moving and storage. It can be put on a shelf, in the top of a garage, or just about anywhere. You’ll be amazed at the portability, stability, and durability of this high-performance boat.
• Catalina 25 —  Clean, very well-maintained 1983 Catalina 25 Tall Rig. It has the popular pop-top cabin top and a full tent enclosure, making it a very versatile cruiser. It also includes a nice 4-stroke Tohatsu 9.9 h.p. outboard with low hours. This is the most popular sailboat (in this size range) in the U.S.
• Maxum 20 —  1991 Maxum runabout with a Mercruiser sterndrive with V-8 power. Lots of room inside and on the sun pad for friends and water toys. Includes an untitled storage trailer.
• Pacific Catamaran —  19-foot Pacific Catamaran built for speed and comfort. Instead of the typical mesh “trampoline,” the Pacific Cat has a fiberglass well that connects the two pontoons and provides more comfort and protection for passengers.
• Pacemaker Wahoo —  1976 Wahoo center console. Big, solid boat with twin 165 h.p. direct drive inboard engines.
• Chaparral 19 —  1997 Chaparral 19-foot bowrider. This boat has a Mercruiser sterndrive, and the seats are in good condition. Includes a titled trailer.
• Bayliner Trophy 21 — Trophy in excellent condition and ready for the water. The owner maintained her meticulously, and her four-cylinder Volvo stern drive is good to get you to the fish and back. The boat is very clean and has many amenities found on larger boats.
• Com-Pac 16 — Nice little 1979 Compac 16 ready to sail. In good condition and with a trailer. Compac boats are roomy and seaworthy. They are easy to sail and would make a great first sailboat.
• Baretta 23 —  Owned by the original purchaser until donated to the museum, this 1990 Mel Hart Baretta Phaser 23 has a Volvo Penta-8 sterndrive with only 85 hours. Includes a titled trailer.
• Starcraft 21 —  1995 21-foot cuddy cabin boat with plenty of room in the cockpit. Includes 4.3lx Mercruiser 220 h.p. sterndrive and a titled Load-Rite trailer.
• Concorde 30 —  This 1971 flybridge sportfish is a very clean, good-looking boat reminiscent of the older Bertrams. “Bandit” features twin Chrysler 250 h.p. 318 v-8s with heat exchangers. This boat has two 80-gallon fuel tanks, a 20-gallon freshwater tank, air conditioning, a hot water heater, a shower, an alcohol stove, a sink with running water, and wash down on the back deck.
