Our members and guests enjoy transformative experiences as they encounter Chesapeake Bay history firsthand through real people, real work, original artifacts and exhibitions, visual arts, and Chesapeake artifacts.
CBMM’s park-like waterfront setting includes numerous indoor and outdoor exhibitions, a working Shipyard, Museum Store, a floating fleet of historic vessels, member’s marina, and is easily reached by car or boat. Each time you experience the Bay with us, you’ll take away something new!
