Navy Point

CBMM’s premier wedding venue, Navy Point is located on the former site of Coulbourne & Jewett Seafood Packing Company, a legendary Eastern Shore business in the first half of the 20th century and one of Maryland’s most successful minority-owned businesses.

Offering a tranquil waterfront setting, Navy Point is surrounded by water on three sides and affords expansive view of the Miles River. This venue accommodates up to 250 reception guests.

Small Boat Shed

This structure, previously a freight terminal owned by the Baltimore, Chesapeake & Atlantic Railway Company, was disassembled in nearby Claiborne in 1933 and rebuilt in a new configuration here, next to the St. Michaels Packing Company’s cannery, on the end of Navy Point.

The Small Boat Shed houses CBMM’s fleet of historic small craft in a rustic setting. It accommodates 100 seated reception guests, or 200 standing.

Fogg’s Landing

Fogg’s Landing offers spectacular views of our marina and Fogg’s Cove. There are lovely gardens outside Mitchell House, once the home of Eliza Bailey Mitchell, Frederick Douglass’ closest sibling.

This venue accommodates 200 guests and includes access to the decks surrounding the Steamboat Building.

Van Lennep Auditorium

With vaulted ceiling, large windows, and double doors that open to a deck overlooking Fogg’s Cove and the Miles River, this intimate waterfront setting provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable event.

Van Lennep Auditorium accommodates 70 people for a seated dinner and 150 for a cocktail party. The venue also contains one of CBMM’s rotating exhibition galleries.
