On Thursday, Feb. 25, homeschool students ages 8 and older are invited to explore structural engineering by designing and building a bridge. Through a hands-on challenge, participants will learn how compression and tension create strong structures while using the engineering design process to test and improve their designs. This two-hour workshop encourages problem solving, collaboration, and creative thinking.
Participants may be dropped off and picked up at the end of the program, or a chaperoning adult may stay for the workshop. All participants must register in advance.
