Arriving by Car
From Easton, take Route 33 west. This road becomes the main street of St. Michaels (Talbot Street). You will drive through the historic district before reaching CBMM. You’ll see the CBMM Entrance sign about half a mile into town. Pass Cherry Street and Mill Street, then take the next right. You’ll know you’re in the right place when you pass under the old Knapps Narrows bridge. The bridge once connected the rest of the world to Tilghman Island; it now greets members and guests at our entrance. CBMM offers ample free parking for our members and guests. Bus parking is available for groups.
Note: Unless you are walking, do not turn down Cherry Street or Mill Street, as there is no access to CBMM parking.
Arriving by Boat
CBMM’s Marina is located on the Miles river on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Once in the Miles river, after passing marker 4 take a starboard turn heading towards 2SM. This marks the Saint Michaels harbor entrance. At marker 2SM, CBMM’s marina will be off the starboard bow, occupying Navy Point. When approaching CBMM’s marina please contact the Dockmaster via VHF radio to receive a slip assignment. CBMM’s coordinates are 38° 47′ N, 76° 13′ W.
Note: CBMM’s Marina is available to CBMM members only. Advanced reservations for overnight stay are preferred. Day docking is available on a first come first served basis only.
