For more than 50 years, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum has worked to tell the stories of the Chesapeake Bay region and its people and to enhance the area where we all live, work, and play. In addition, our mission is focused on planning for the future and for our continued role as a vital community partner that provides meaningful and accessible guest experiences, represents genuinely the people and cultures whose stories we tell, creates transformative educational programming, and stewards the priceless assets entrusted to our care.
