CBMM offers hands-on programs throughout the year through the Apprentice for a Day (AFAD) Shipyard Program. These include workshops, demonstrations, intensives with visiting master craftsmen, on-the-water experiences, and customizable programming.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Participants are required to wear closed-toe shoes for all programs held in the Boatshop. The Boatshop is not climate controlled, so please dress according to the weather outdoors. Unless otherwise noted, all materials, tools, and personal protective equipment are provided. Participants are encouraged to bring a bag lunch for all workshops and intensives.

REFUND POLICY

Due to the popularity of Apprentice for a Day programs and our frequent waitlists, refunds will only be issued for cancellations made with at least one week (7 days) advance notice. All refunds will be credited to the card used for program registration within 48–72 hours of the cancellation.
