CBMM offers hands-on programs throughout the year through the Apprentice for a Day (AFAD) Shipyard Program. These include workshops, demonstrations, intensives with visiting master craftsmen, on-the-water experiences, and customizable programming.

For more information or to arrange custom group visits, contact Shipyard Education Programs Manager Jenn Kuhn at afad@cbmm.org or 410-745-4980.

Email Shipyard Education Programs Manager Jenn Kuhn at jkuhn@cbmm.org or call 410-745-4980 to register. Shipyard programs are subject to change from year to year. Advance registration is required.

Participants are required to wear closed-toe shoes for all programs held in the Boatshop. The Boatshop is not climate controlled, so please dress according to the weather outdoors. Unless otherwise noted, all materials, tools, and personal protective equipment are provided. Participants are encouraged to bring a bag lunch for all workshops and intensives.
