Homeschool Day

Homeschool students and their adults are invited to CBMM’s Homeschool Day, selecting either a morning (10:30am-noon) or afternoon (1-2:30pm) program, to explore the ecology of Chesapeake Bay.
This season, homeschoolers will participate in the Investigation Chesapeake immersive tour. This ecology-based program teaches students about the animals, plants, and environment of the Chesapeake through hands-on activities. Students will explore the Bay watershed from large to small by studying a Chesapeake Bay food web, testing water quality, and examining the many organisms that call the Bay ecosystem home. Stations include oyster nursery exploration, shoreline observation, water quality testing, and plankton/Chesapeake Bay food web.

Cost: $5 per person, free for children 5 and under
