ST. MICHAELS, Md., April 26, 2024 – Experience the wide-ranging benefits of yoga surrounded by the peaceful sights and sounds of the Miles River with the return of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum’s Yoga on Navy Point on Tuesday evenings throughout May and June.

Beginning May 7, instructor Colleen Morrison will lead participants through an all-levels class on CBMM’s waterfront campus on Tuesdays from 5:30–6:30pm for eight consecutive weeks.

Registration is required and open now at bit.ly/CBMMYoga2024. The cost is $20 for a single session or $70 for all four sessions in May or June, with a 20% discount for CBMM members on all pricing.

Participants are invited to bring their own mats, props, and water. In the case of inclement weather, class will be held in the Small Boat Shed or Van Lennep Auditorium.

No experience is necessary to enjoy Yoga on Navy Point. An RYT 200 certified instructor, Morrison aims to teach classes that balance challenge with accessibility and loves bringing new yogis into the fold.

Morrison found yoga more than fifteen years ago as an outlet to relieve stress and anxiety. Now, she is passionate about bringing the benefits of mind-body-spirit connections to a broader community.
